Chelesea Vaughan is a native to Southwestern Virginia and was raised in Botetourt County on an equestrian farm. During her time at Liberty University School of Law, she served as Co-President of Street Law, volunteering her time to educate detained juveniles about the criminal justice system. In addition, she served as the President of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Board and won numerous competitions, including Southwestern Law School’s National Entertainment Law Negotiation Competition. While in law school, Ms. Vaughan interned as a Student Law Clerk for the 22nd Judicial Circuit of Virginia as well as the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Western District of Virginia.

Ms. Vaughan was admitted to the Virginia State Bar in 2013 and has since worked in both the public and private sector as a litigator. During her three years working as an Assistant Public Defender in the City or Roanoke, she zealously represented over 700 clients on both misdemeanor and felony offenses. Since joining private practice in 2018, she primarily practices Criminal Defense and Family Law.
